Two months, two million.

Ehhhh... Not exactly as the title suggests. However, we have passed the two month mark in our return to the devils game. I have to admit, overall I've quite enjoyed my return to MTTs. Which is obviously aided by the fact we are winning. My only problem in the past few weeks has been trying to find a schedule that enables me to enjoy the beautiful Maltese summer at the same time.

I briefly completely flipped my sleeping pattern, waking up at 1am and grinding out to around 11am, before enjoying a few hours of the sun shine. It just was going to be impossible to sustain sleeping this way living with people on a polar opposite schedule. I also toyed with the idea of getting backed, playing the glory schedule every evening, firing every Sunday. It could be awesome. I could win over $200k any given Sunday. On the flip side, I could easily find myself in $50k+ make up. It's happened to many of my friends. To put it simply. Fuck that. Finally, my last option was to just stream two or three days a week on the same lovely morning schedule. If my channel hadn't stagnated/lost viewers (went from about 500 avg at peak to 300) in recent weeks due to the channels streaming classics such as 'High Stakes Poker' I might be more motivated to take this option. However, I just don't think I can really compete with it, unless I was to show up 40+ hours each week at regular times. Maybe in the coming weeks/months these channels will be taken down considering they're breaking TOS, but at this point considering how long they've been up, I assume new similar pages would just take their place. Ultimately all of this has made me decide I'm going to move back to SNGs for the next few weeks/months. I don't have much desire to stream SNGs for a number of reasons I've mentioned in the past. I'm sure everybody will be able to cope without their daily dose of 'easywithaces' for the foreseeable future. Anyway, here is the graph from the 24/04/15 to the 24/06/15 and our two months of Twitch MTTs.

It's been so long since I blogged I'm not really too sure what I have or haven't mentioned previously. So let's just hope for the best that I'm not tiring you with old news. Firstly, a few weeks back I done a video for 'Run it Once'. My good friend Espen regularly makes video for the site, (which in my opinion is the best training site out there currently) so when we made a final table together and he asked me about making the video, I was delighted to get involved. You can find the video here. Even though we disagreed in some spots, I felt it went pretty decently. If I was going to make anymore videos in the future, alone or with somebody else, I would probably prefer to go over the HH myself before making the video. I felt there was a couple of spots where I struggled to articulate myself how I wanted to, which I could have easily given a bit more preparation.

In classic Fintan style we ended up in Vienna due to alcohol last Sunday evening after a glass of wine or two too many Saturday night. The majority of 'Team Risky Box' was there so it was nice to catch up before they all head over to Vegas for the main. I have to say, I fell in love with Vienna a small bit. As much as I do love Malta, I miss living in a big city. I miss something constantly going on, the buzz of 10s of thousands of people walking around cities at night. Where Marc lives seems ideal too. It's not completely in the middle of the city, but you can walk in less than 20 minutes. It's definitely top of my list for where I'm most likely to end up next for now.

My next blog probably won't be until we get back from our Ireland/Tomorrowland/Ireland/Finland trip in a weeks. I can't imagine I won't have some fun stories from that time. Outrageously excited for Tomorrowland. I've also got my cousins wedding in August in Birmingham. So we shall be bopping all over the place for the next 6 weeks. I know people obviously don't enjoy watching me play 'The Last of Us' on stream as much as poker, but you might catch me there when I'm bored on my own as Paudie is gone back to Ireland for a bit, and obviously the girls work during the day. So you know, come be my frieeeeeeend!

Also very very finally, as this is the first post on (in my opinion) my new fantastic website. I'd like to thank Vedran for making it for me, along with my Twitch layout, logo and other graphic stuff.
